Description
Construction of a 7000m2 warehouse for a manufacturer of gas cylinders consisting of a warehouse structure and ancillary buildings. The warehouse was constructed using RC concrete columns and beams clad with superstructure brickwork and covered with aluminium sheeting; it included two gantry cranes. Other buildings included a municipal substation, LV substation, store, refuse and compressor rooms and a guardhouse. Part of the work was done by an SMME who worked under the guidance and training of GVK-Siya Zama.
